Program Overview

Wachovia 3:1 Matching Grant DPA Program is a a 3:1 matching grant targeting low and moderate income homebuyers. This grant program requires no repayment. The entire state of Colorado is eligible.

Who is eligible for this program?

Borrower must put down $500 minimum of their own money. Must close by 6-30-08 and be owner occupied. Home must be located in Colorado. Must use Wachovia Mortgage. Income eligibility is 80% of HUD area median income for a family of four. There is a minimum of $500 investment and up to $1000 for match. Borrower must qualify for selected mortgage products through Wachovia. Funds may be used for down payment, closing costs, discount points, or prepaids. Property Eligibility Requirements

Homes located in the entire state of Colorado are eligible. Allowable property types: Single family, Townhomes, Condos, Duplexes

Benefit Details

Assistance amount is $1500 to $3000. Benefit: This is a grant program therefore no repayment of funds is required. Loan Term: 360 years Homebuyer Counseling / Education Required: No Owner Occupancy Required: Yes Other Program Comments: Must qualify for mortgage program selected and take classes if required by mortgage program guidelines.
