Nonprofit Program Overview

Care Housing provides earnings based affordable housing and supporting services to working families. The program is funded by grants, donations, rents, and management fees. Once the client is enrolled in the program, they must maintain their rental unit and pay their rent on time. Supportive Services include: self help, parenting, budgeting, tax preparation, nutritional, etc. Care Housing offers 1 year leases to qualified applicants. They can remain in the program but must be re-certified on an annual basis. Other Information
Admission requirements:	Care Housing makes suggestions on how the parties can get qualified. Must be employed at least 20 hours per week and meet HUD income guidelines and must have dependent child/children.
Waiting list:	None
Fee schedule:	$25.00 application fee plus a Security Deposit of one month's rent or maximum of $500.00.
Languages spoken by staff:	English, but an interpretor can be provided if needed, free of charge.
